Lynn decided to start taking classes again this fall.  Her days are now overfull with reading and writing for her evening class, her children, photo albuming and trying to keep the house clean.  She is also trying to catch up on the family history research she has put off (especially now that all her parents want for Christmas is their four generation sheets finished).

Matt is spending his fall trying to keep up with school despite suffering some minor but irritating side effects from a getting hit by a car the first day of the semester.  He is a copyeditor of a BYU-sponsored bimonthly newspaper.  He is also a teaching assistant and has found it to be more time consuming than he had imagined.

Lynn has been attending her first season of college football with Matt this year.  We picked a good year to start attending Cougar games and wish them well with their unbeaten record.  (Lynn likes football a lot more than she thought she would!)

At the end of November, 2001 Lynn, Matt and the girls will be celebrating Thanksgiving and an early Christmas with the Shefchiks in American Fork.  All of her immediate familiy will be there, even Byron from Green Bay, Wisconsin.  It should be a lot of fun to especially see the two nearly walking cousins play together!

In December we will spend a week or so with Matt's parents and brother down in California.  Our Christmas break is fairly short this year, so that's basically all we will have time for during the Holidays.

Then in February the Olympics will be here.  We have tickets to see a ski jumping event and a women's hockey game between the U.S. and China.
